The Bernards Township Municipal Alliance is funded by a grant from the NJ Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse awarded by the Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders on an annual basis. The required 25% match is raised through our annual Pleasant Valley Twilight Challenge 5k Run for Tobacco Awareness, which occurs on the first Sunday in June.

In addition, the Alliance accepts donations to further its mission and enhance its programs. By donating, you can sponsor a child to attend the Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute, a one week conference where students learn leadership as well as drug and alcohol prevention skills.  Bernards is a tax-exempt governmental entity.
